Additional Information:

Antique California tile top tables are getting extremely hard to find in such great condition. This six tile mural of Macaw parrots was made by Taylor Tilery of Santa Monica in the 1930s and is a stunner.

A table with this same design can be found on page 162 in the book, California Tile: The Golden Era 1910-1940 written by the California Heritage Museum, Joseph A Taylor editor, and Steven Soukup & Michael Trotter design editors.

It is described in the book as a "Six-tile double parrots cuerda seca mural, set in vintage radio table."

This table will complement any Mission, Arts & Crafts, Monterey or Art Deco setting.

All joints appear to be tight with no problems noted. The legs are not wobbly in the least. This table has been stored (covered) in our home. In taking pictures for a potential customer we noticed a hairline split that we had not seen previously in one of the legs. We have closely examined the other legs and they do not have any other splits. This split does not appear to affect the integrity of the leg. It starts approximately one inch above the ground and runs in a slightly curved line for about three of the turning rings. This is not very noticeable as we did not see it until we were almost done taking pictures. However, in the spirit of full disclosure we need to mention it. We have included a couple of close-up pictures for you to view. The pictures actually make it look worse than it is.
