Additional Information:
This is a rare printed United States Army Air Corps scarf. We
have searched for several years and have not found another like it.
It features the large winged propeller logo of the corps as well as the
pre-war pinwheel logo. Additional symbols include, aerographer, bomber
mechanic, parachute man, rigid airship, radio, and bomber. The border
features the classic B-24 Bomber also known as The Liberator.
This scarf is at least 63 years old and does show some battle scars.
The colors are bright and it is generally clean. It does have several
small holes throughout, but given the scarcity, it is just wonderful to
have in any condition!
It will make quite an addition to any World War II, Air Corps, or Air
Force collection especially if it
were matted and framed.
