Additional Information:
This is a hard to find piece of Roseville. Not only is the Iris pattern
limited but finding a wall pocket, which is highly desirable,
in this pattern is next to impossible.
A look inside or at the back displays the characteristic yellow clay
used in making these fine pieces of art pottery.
The impressed mark on the back is indicative of the manufacturing years
of 1932 - 37 however, the Huxford Collectors Encyclopedia of
Roseville Pottery lists this pattern as being made in the
year 1938.
This Iris Pattern came in three colors Carmel Tan, Pink and Blue with
the blue being the hardest to find followed by the pink. This piece is
guaranteed original and is not a cheap reproduction.
