Additional Information:
This is a nice Sterling Silver napkin ring made by Rogers, Lunt
&
Bowlen circa 1920s in Greenfield, Massachusetts. They started business
in 1901. After 1935 they became known as Lunt Silversmiths.
It is marked sterling and has the mark of R L B in squares representing
Rogers, Lunt and Bowlen. It is fairly plain in design and came from an
old estate in New England. We estimated the age to be circa 1920s. It
is engraved with the name E. A. Sherwood. Reverend Everett Atherton
Sherwood was a Baptist Pastor from Melrose, Massachusetts.
The interior diameter is approximately 41 mm or 1 5/8”by
3/4” high. It weighs approximately .6 ounces or 18 grams.
It polishes nicely and would make a nice addition to anyone's napkin
ring collection.
