US Camera Co Rollex 20 Folding Camera & Case

The Rollex 20 is a self-erecting folding camera; it has a leg that folds up or down to support the camera. It is used for shooting 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" exposures on 120 or 620 films. The camera was made for use with both types of film. It was made by United States Camera Co. in Chicago, Illinois.

It was a consumer friendly camera, with fixed focusing and fixed aperture. The only choices that are offered are the time mode and 1/50 second shutter speed. The shutter has a lever that is integrated in the upper edge of the front door and works properly.

It has an optical viewfinder. The lens is clear and free of scratches. It has a red window on the back to view the film. We held the camera up to a light in a dark room and see no pin holes or damage to the collapsible bellows whatsoever.

The camera comes with a custom fitted genuine leather case that includes a strap. The case is also made in the U.S.A. specifically for this Rollex 20 camera by Rohik, which is impressed into the leather.

The camera is approximately 3 5/8" by 6 1/4" by 1 1/4" thick when closed. When open it is 4 7/8" thick. The camera was made circa 1940s to 50s. There is no serial number visible.

While we are sure this camera has probably been used you would be hard pressed to find one in better condition. There is no rust or dirt and only very minor wear.

We assume that this camera is in proper working order however, since we do not have any film for it and have not tested it you will be buying it as a display or for parts only. We cannot guarantee it works.
