Additional Information:
This piece along with many others that can be found on our Jewelry
pages are from an estate in the Boston area. They were owned by an
elderly woman that passed away in 1977.
This is a beautiful heart shaped brooch or pin with both clear and aqua
or turquoise rhinestones in it. Each stone is set separately. There are
20 of the aqua or turquoise stones and 14 of the small clear
rhinestones for a total of 34 stones.
By the hinged end of the pin back there is what appears to be an "N".
Could this possibly be for the manufacturer Napier? We do not know for
sure as we could not find this particular mark listed anywhere.
The vintage era costume jewelry is back in vogue and now is an
opportune time to purchase a few pieces at very reasonable prices.
