This piece along with many others that can be found on our Jewelry
pages are from an estate in the Boston area. They were owned by an
elderly woman that passed away in 1977.
This is a beautiful hummingbird in flight. It has enamel in shades of
blues and greens with an iridescent look to it. The eye is a dark blue
rhinestone. The silver tips of the wings and beak just glisten. This is
a magnificent looking piece.
The vintage era costume jewelry is back in vogue and now is an
opportune time to purchase a few pieces at very reasonable prices.
